Posting Guidelines
These are the general rules for posting listings on next2u. Read them together with the Listing Quality Requirements and the Prohibited Goods and Services.
Keep it legal
Do not post offers, conditions or information that break the law or third-party rights, or that help others do so (for example, requiring a passport as collateral).
You may only post listings for goods and services (collectively referred to as "goods") if you hold all the necessary rights, licences, registrations, permits and certificates. Before posting, make sure every element (text and photos) complies with the law. You bear full responsibility for any legal violation or infringement of third-party rights.
Be accurate and complete
Misleading information about your goods or offer is a serious violation of next2u's rules. All listing parameters (title, description, category, photos) must be consistent with each other and reflect the actual terms of your offer. If the law requires certain details, you must include them. You are fully responsible for a listing that lacks mandatory information or contains inaccurate details.
Use the right category
Post listings only for products that have a matching category on next2u, and place each listing in the correct one. Do not post listings to accept gifts, order services, collect financial assistance, date, or to find, lose, buy or search.
As a rule, one listing is for one product. You may combine several products in a single listing only when they form a set or belong to the same category (for example, a fishing rod and a diving suit under "Hunting and Fishing", but not a car "for getting to the fishing spot"). When several same-category products share a listing, each must have its own price.
In the categories "Personal Items", "Spare Parts", "Business Equipment", "Furniture and Interior", "Video Cards" and "Game Consoles", you may offer several products in one listing if they are a set from the same brand.
We may limit the number of free listings in certain categories so buyers see offers from different sellers. Once a limit is reached (within 30 and/or 365 calendar days before posting), posting or reactivating a listing in those categories may require a fee, under the Terms of paid placement.
Offer something real and available
Your listing must be a real item with genuine value (you cannot sell "a hole from a bagel" or rent an apartment "on Saturn"). If you are selling an item, you must have it; if offering a service, you must be able to provide it. Post at the real address where the item is located.
When your offer is sold or no longer relevant, remove the listing promptly. Do not repurpose a published listing (for example, swapping in a photo of a different item); create a new listing for a new offer. Remember that posting a listing may create an obligation toward a potential buyer to conclude and perform the transaction under civil law.
One listing per item
You may have only one active listing per product. Duplicates are not allowed, including across different cities, regions, categories or accounts.
A listing is also treated as a duplicate if you:
- remove or delete a listing (before it expires) and then post a new one for the same product, including in another region or category;
- edit a published listing to swap in a different product, then post a new listing for the original product;
- post one combined listing for several products, then post separate listings for those same products.
When the product characteristics match, the later listing is the duplicate and may be blocked.
Posting duplicates is a gross violation of next2u's rules. Repeated or malicious violations may lead to restrictions on your account.
