Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.
Cookie categories
Necessary for the site to function. These cannot be disabled.
- n2u_prefs (1 year): your cookie consent choices, location and display settings
- n2u_uid / n2u_aid (1 year): anonymous identifier to deliver feature flags and keep the site consistent (not used for analytics)
- Session cookies: login session and security
Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (strictly necessary).
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Set only with your consent, and routed first-party through our own domain.
- ph_*_posthog (1 year): PostHog (hosted in the EU). Distinguishes users and sessions and stores analytics state.
With your consent, PostHog records interaction events and session replays in which all text inputs are masked, so we never see what you type. Analytics data stays in the EU, runs only after consent, and its cookies are cleared when you withdraw it. No data is shared for advertising.
Legal basis: consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
We use Sentry to detect and fix technical errors (error messages, browser type, page URL; no personal data). Personal-data collection and session recording are disabled in Sentry.
Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (website stability).
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Managing your preferences
On your first visit, a banner lets you choose Accept all, Only essential, or Customize (to decide category by category). You can also manage cookies through your browser:
Third-party services
These providers may set their own cookies or receive limited technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver their part of the site:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| PostHog | Product analytics | Policy |
| Sentry | Error tracking | Policy |
| Stripe | Payment processing | Policy |
| Google Fonts | Web fonts | Policy |
| Iconify | Icon rendering | Policy |
Stripe payments happen on Stripe's own domain, so its cookies are not set on next2u. For the full list of providers that process your data (including those that set no cookies, such as our AI provider), see our Sub-processors page.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Questions about cookies? Contact customer support, or write to next2u S.à r.l. - S., 14A Rue du Baumbusch, L-8213 Mamer, Luxembourg.
