Listing Quality Requirements
Following these requirements helps buyers understand your offer clearly and quickly.
Profile and listing descriptions
Your profile and listing should contain enough information for users to make an informed decision. Each field must contain only what it is meant for; mandatory fields must be completed before you can post.
Do not include:
- information unrelated to your offer (references to your company, third parties, or reviews of next2u);
- statements buyers might read as next2u endorsing your offer;
- all caps, or unnecessary abbreviations and acronyms.
Strictly prohibited
next2u strictly prohibits:
- profanity, erotic, vulgar, offensive or defamatory content, and anything against moral standards and business practices;
- content that may shock, disgust or disturb (violence, cruelty and their consequences);
- threats or content promoting aggression, disrespect, hatred or enmity;
- content that encourages or justifies illegal or anti-social actions;
- information or images whose distribution is prohibited by law.
To improve search and user experience, next2u may adjust some technical parameters (such as subcategories or photo order), and may technically adapt a listing that breaks a minor formatting rule (for example, contact details or photo formatting) instead of rejecting it.
Listing content requirements
The title must accurately describe the item or service and must not mislead. Do not include:
- contact details;
- price (including original or comparison prices);
- attention-grabbing words, symbols or repeats ("click here", "bargain", "cheap!!!", "jeans jeans jeans");
- "gift", "present", "bonus" without saying what is free;
- generic words instead of the real name ("device", "electronics", "new", "used", "for parts").
next2u may auto-generate the title from the parameters you provide.
The description must be about your offer only. You may include delivery, warranty, installation/setup, and official documentation details. Do not include external links, or excessive keywords and symbols for SEO or attention. next2u offers automatic description generation; review and edit it before publishing.
- State the price in euro, as the exact amount you are selling for.
- Do not use ranges (for example, "200 to 350 euro").
- If you are open to negotiation, say so in the description, not the price field.
- Use "Free" only if the item is genuinely being given away.
- Use good-quality photos that match the title and description and show your actual offer; the item must be the main element, and a product image should be the first photo.
- Add up to 10 photos (at least one), each up to 10 MB, in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .webp or .gif.
- Use your own photos (or ones you are legally allowed to use); if a person appears, you must have their consent.
- Do not reuse identical product photos, and do not add next2u interface elements or imitations.
Not allowed in photos: prohibited goods or services (or their images and readable names); sexualized content; people with firearms; extra transaction terms or buyer requirements; contact information; photos of personal documents or private correspondence; attention-grabbing words or elements ("urgent", "attention", coloured frames, unrelated collages); price-reduction cues (crossed-out prices, "sale", "discount", "cheap"); words like "Guarantee", "Review", "Installment", "Trade-in" or a seller brand name; and watermarks, logos or names of other brands or sites.
next2u may automatically apply its logo/watermark to uploaded photos to prevent unauthorized copying.
Set the transaction location to improve searchability. Your exact address stays private; other users see the postal code instead.
